Adding a phone to a web session, or vice versa, takes 30 seconds and an 8-character code.

On a device that's already signed in: Settings → Link a new device. A code appears with a 5-minute timer.

On the new device: open the app and tap Sign in with a code from another device.

Type the 8-character code (or scan the QR shown on the issuing device). The server creates a fresh keypair for the new device and you're in.
